52nd Annual Day Celebration – Lumen 2025

Infant Jesus Central School, Thuvayoor celebrated its 52nd Annual Day, “Lumen 2025,” on 18 December 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation. The event began with a Cultural Programme at 1.30 pm, showcasing the vibrant talents of the students through a variety of performances.

The Public Meeting commenced at 3.00 pm with an invocation by the School Choir. Fr. Dr. Samuel Paickattethu, Bursar, delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting the dignitaries and guests. The Annual Report of the school was presented by Rev. Sr. Sheeja SCV, Principal, highlighting the academic achievements and activities of the past year.

The meeting was presided over by His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Mathews Mar Polycarpos, Bishop of the Diocese of Mavelikara and Patron of the School, who delivered the presidential address. The formal inauguration was performed by the chief guest Magician Mr. Samraj, who later entertained the audience with his engaging presence.

The programme included a group song by Binsa and team and a melodious song by Diya Mariyam Jimson and Damien S. George. Felicitations were offered by Rev. Sr. Shanthi SCV (Mother Superior, St. Vincent’s Convent), Mr. John C. Samuel (Ward Member) and Mr. Saji George (PTA President).

A special moment of the evening was the Honouring and Presentation of Awards, recognizing students who excelled in academics and co-curricular activities. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Reena Daniel, Vice Principal, followed by the School Anthem by the School Choir.

The celebration concluded with the continuation of the cultural evening, leaving the audience inspired and proud of the students’ talents and achievements.
