Teachers’ Day 2026

Infant Jesus Central School, Thuvayoor, celebrated Teachers’ Day on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with a special programme honouring the dedication and service of its teachers. The celebration was marked by prayer, student performances, messages of appreciation and a special gesture of gratitude from the school management.

The programme began with a prayer led by the School Choir, followed by the welcome address by Christeena Shalu. Students of Class 3 presented a dance, followed by a speech by Evana Libi Arun.

Fr. Samuel Paickattethu, Bursar, delivered a message highlighting the importance of teachers and their role in guiding and shaping the lives of students. Students of Class 8 then presented a dance as part of the celebration.

Sr. Sheeja SCV, Principal, shared a message appreciating the commitment and dedication of the teaching community. An action song by Class 2 added to the festive atmosphere, followed by a message from Mrs. Reena Daniel, Vice Principal.

As a special expression of appreciation, the school management presented gifts to the teachers in recognition of their dedicated service and valuable contribution to the growth and formation of the students. The gesture added a meaningful dimension to the celebration and conveyed the management’s gratitude towards the entire teaching community.

The teachers themselves added to the joy of the occasion with a special Teachers’ Performance, making the celebration lively and memorable.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Christin Babu, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the Teachers’ Day celebration.

The celebration served as a heartfelt tribute to the teachers of Infant Jesus Central School, Thuvayoor, recognising their important role not only in imparting knowledge but also in inspiring, guiding and nurturing the young minds entrusted to their care.
