Independence Day Celebrated with Patriotic Spirit at Infant Jesus Central School

Infant Jesus Central School, Thuvayoor, celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm on the school campus. The programme commenced at 8:30 a.m., bringing together students and staff to commemorate the spirit of freedom, unity and national pride.

The celebration began with the flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem. The Independence Day messages were delivered by Rev. Fr. Dr. Samuel Paickattethu, School Bursar; Rev. Sr. Sheeja SCV, School Principal; Anu Kokkattu, PTA President; Mrs. Parvathy, PTA Vice President; and Reena Daniel, Vice Principal. The sight of the Tricolour fluttering proudly on the school campus filled everyone with a deep sense of patriotism and pride.

A variety of cultural programmes were organised as part of the celebration. Students presented patriotic songs, dances and other performances that highlighted the values of freedom, unity and love for our motherland. Their enthusiastic participation added colour and vibrancy to the occasion.

The celebration also provided an opportunity for students to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and to understand their responsibility as young citizens of the nation. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Deepthy Murari.
