Eco Club

Eco Club Volunteers and Clean Campus Campaign – October

The Eco Club will begin by appointing student volunteers who will take an active role in promoting environmental responsibility within the school. A Clean Campus Campaign will encourage students to maintain cleanliness and develop responsible habits in their daily lives. Students will also have opportunities to share environmental messages through school assemblies. The programme aims to develop environmentally conscious young citizens who understand that protecting the environment is a responsibility shared by everyone.

Herbal Garden / Kitchen Garden – November

Students will participate in creating a small herbal or kitchen garden using commonly available medicinal and useful plants. The activity provides practical exposure to gardening, plant care, biodiversity, and sustainable living. It also helps students understand where food and natural resources come from and encourages respect for nature. The garden can become a living learning space that inspires students to adopt environmentally responsible habits at home and in their communities.

Food Wastage and Cleanliness Awareness – January

This programme focuses on developing awareness about food wastage, cleanliness, and responsible consumption. Students will conduct short awareness sessions in their classes, encouraging their peers to avoid unnecessary food waste and maintain clean surroundings. The activity helps students understand how everyday choices can affect natural resources and the environment. By developing responsible habits at an early age, students can become advocates for sustainable living in their families and communities.
