Birthday Charity Initiative – October

The Birthday Charity Initiative encourages students to celebrate their birthdays by sharing with others rather than focusing only on receiving. Students are encouraged to donate a book to the school library as a meaningful birthday contribution. This simple gesture helps strengthen the school’s reading culture while teaching children the values of generosity, sharing, and social responsibility. Through such small acts of kindness, students learn that their celebrations can also create opportunities for others to learn and grow.

Visit to an Old Age Home – November

The visit to an old age home gives students an opportunity to spend meaningful time with elderly people and understand the importance of care, respect, and companionship. Through conversations and simple interactions, students learn to appreciate the experiences and wisdom of the older generation. The programme helps develop empathy and a sense of responsibility towards the elderly. It also reminds students that a compassionate society begins with caring for every generation.

Charity Collection and Visit to an Orphanage - Whole year

As part of the Nallapadham initiative, students will collect useful items and contribute them to an orphanage. The programme encourages children to recognise the needs of others and to share what they can with those who may have fewer opportunities. The visit will provide students with an opportunity to interact with children from different backgrounds and understand the importance of inclusion and kindness. The experience aims to nurture compassionate young people who are willing to contribute to a more caring society.
